Join CentraCare M Physicians Orthopedics at Earth Day 2026 — More Trees, More Fun, More Impact!
Register kids ages 12 and younger for the free Kids’ 1K, which is part of the CentraCare Earth Day Run in St. Cloud on April 17-18. Celebrate wellbeing, inspire kids to embrace outdoor fun and fitness, and make lasting memories. Every dollar you donate grows our forests, literally! Active Central MN and Great River Greening will plant one tree for every dollar, plus one extra tree for every kid running the free Kids’ 1K.

The event features a half marathon, half marathon relay, 5K run/walk, a free Kids’ 1K, and a lively Fitness Festival. Participants will enjoy scenic routes showcasing the beautiful Mississippi River, rustic trails and an energetic finish-line party in downtown St. Cloud along historic St. Germain Street.

St. Cloud Hospital Recognized in Own the Bone
CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital was recognized as a newly enrolled institution and a Star Performer in Own the Bone. This milestone reflects CentraCare’s ongoing commitment to advancing musculoskeletal health and improving care for patients across rural and regional Minnesota through collaboration and research.

The Own the Bone Registry is a quality improvement initiative focusing on preventing future fractures and promoting long-term bone health. Through this program, CentraCare provides patients with clear, evidence-based and data-supported information about their fractures and outlines personalized steps they can take to reduce their risk of future injury.

For patients in rural communities, where access to specialty care can often be limited, participation in programs like Own the Bone is especially important. It helps ensure that patients receive comprehensive, proactive care that helps them maintain independence, mobility and quality of life.
