Provider Spotlight: Udit Agarwal, MBBS
Udit Agarwal, MBBS, PhD, is one of the newest members of the CentraCare Heart & Vascular team.Dr. Agarwal says, “I work with my patients with empathy and understanding to provide them with patient-centric, personalized cardiac care.” His clinical interests include heart failure, coronary artery disease, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Dr. Agarwal completed medical school at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and earned a PhD from Kent State University/Cleveland Clinic in cell and molecular biology with a special focus on cardiac cell regeneration after a heart attack.
When not at work, Dr. Agarwal enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also loves music and performs Indian Bollywood songs in community shows.
